Calling local business owners to…

EJK is excited to work with the Seattle Good Business Network to promote our local economy.

As a small, local business owner with locally minded clients, EJK is excited to welcome the Seattle Good Business Network (SGBN) to our family.  SGBN is a non-profit organization dedicated to building unique and sustainable local economies. To do so, SGBN works with local business owners to promote their products and educate Seattleites on the importance of buying local.

Not only do we encourage business owners to become part of the Think Local program, we’re excited about SGBN’s Eat Local Now! event, at the end of this month. Thank you SGBN for being one of our hardest working business partners.

Celebrating the Environment

Celebrating environmentally minded non-profits.We’d like to recognize two of our amazing non-profits that are celebrating their services to the environment this October. On October 7, Washington Conservation Voters (WCV) will celebrate 19 years of environmental advocacy and political action in the State of Washington. EJK is honored to host a table at their annual Breakfast of Champions, and is excited to hear Jim Whittaker, the first American to climb Mt. Everest, speak.

In addition, Feet First is celebrating 10 years of promoting walkable communities across the state.  Feet First festivities will take place Tuesday, October 11, 2011 at the NORD Building in Pioneer Square. Thank you to WCV and Feet First for making Washington a better place to live!

Studio Lux's amazing work!

EJK is excited to welcome Studio Lux to our family. Studio Lux is one of Seattle’s premier architectural lighting design firms. With a talented team of designers, Studio Lux maintains an impressive portfolio of commercial, residential, hospitality, and civic works throughout the US, and around the world.

At EJK, we especially love their Chihuly installations like those found at the Royal Botanical Gardens in London. Thanks for making EJK part of your talented team!

Our clients fuel Seattle

Try Bar del Corso's wood fired pizzas on Beacon Hill

Bar del Corso's tomato and pesto pizza

Congrats to all our gourmet clients who are making waves across Seattle this summer. At the top of the list is Bar del Corso, who opened their Italian pizzeria on Beacon Ave, and have already become a neighborhood staple. Our favorites are the squash blossom pizza, manila clams, and orange polenta cake for dessert.

Kudos to Where Ya At Matt, who got written up in Seattle Met for their “complexly feisty” New Orleans shrimp po’boy. And to another kitchen on wheels, Pai’s Thai-Hawaiian, for making waves at SAM’s Olympic Sclupture Park TASTE event, and the South Lake Union Block Party!
